Dharamshala, June 06, 2020-As many as four persons were tested Covid-19 positive on Saturday in Kangra district. All have a travel history of the National Capital and arrived in the district last week. Two of them belong to Baijnath sub-division and were kept at institutional quarantine at Baijanth while the others two were kept at Aalampur and Jawalamukhi.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said here at Dharamshala on Saturday that all the four male patients had been shifted to DCCC, Baijnath. With this new case, total number of Corona positive cases in the district now stands at 105, with 54 active cases, 50 recovered patients and one death.
He told that one patient belonged to Bana village at Ghallaur panchayat in Jawalamukhi sub-division. A driver by profession, this person arrived from Delhi last week. He was kept at the institutional quarantine Center, Geeta Bhawan in Jawalamukhi town. The patient from Lambagaon was at IQ Alampur, while the patients from Baijnath and Mahakal under Baijnath sub-division were kept at IQ Baijnath.
